    It was the ending that killed me !!! I don't think I've ever read a book from Victoria Aveyard, but boy, her endings are GOOD. I'm used to the sappy 'We all cheered around the table, we've one the fight' or the 'He looked down at my eyes "I chose you" and he kisses me.' (Get my gist?) and then the next book starts off with the slow ascending plot to the next fight. However, Aveyard has gone and finished this book at the start of another book Red Queen #3 'King's Cage'. The ending absolutely killed me what is going to happen ??? And worst of all, I have to wait possibly 2 months for the third book to find out what happens. Also not 5 stars because of the ending as it annoys me so much, and Aveyard used 'He said/she said/they said/I say/he murmurs/she murmurs/I murmur' way too many times.

    The second book doesn't let you down. Amazing and just as good as Red Queen. Picks up from where Red Queen left it and it was just ace. God knows how I'm supposed to wait another year for the next book! Gimme gimme now!
