    This was another brilliant book in the series, had me turning pages like I had nothing else to do, I read the book in record time as I just couldn't put it down. Had my heart racing more than once and even had me feeling anxious for the characters. Brilliant book and so brilliantly written!

    This is the 2nd book in the series that I've read and while it didn't quite have the grip and shock value of the first, it was still a darned good, hard to put down shocker of a violent, serial killer story. Any fan of the genre will be caught up in this tale. I'm off to get the 3rd book now.

    Oh dear. The lead heroine is crushingly enthusiastic. The FBI can't stop telling her how terrific she is, but sack her any way. And she goes where police fear to tread. But it's OK, a long bath and a linen dress will out the worlds to rights..... Kay Scarpetta she is not.
