    This book is a proper laugh out loud book, not really conducive to bedtime reading as I laughed so much I had to bite my pillow to stop myself howling! As well as the humour there is also the totally recognisable issues we all face and share with our crazy friends who are all in the story in one form or another. It was real, I loved it and I'm gutted it's finished! Is there more from this author??

    Well done Catherine! 1st novel and it's a cracker. It's characters are authentic and Emma is so easy to invest it and I liked her from the start. The book pulls at your heart strings, then in the next moment has you in fits of giggles, both reducing me to tears at times! Bridget Jones meets Love Actually! Well worth a read!

    Loved this book. The characters are hilarious, a crazy lovable family that you wish were your own! Sinead was my particular favourite. Great debut novel, very funny. Hope it gets turned into a movie. Can't wait for her next one.
