    What a fascinating and thought-provoking book. I have, for a long time, been puzzled by the seemingly rapid advancements of the human race as demonstrated by their means to build the pyramids of Giza only a short while (allegedly) after building irregular huts with thatched roofs! It made no sense to me, particularly as it was many years before any real technical skills revealed themselves in subsequent building structures too. Graham Hancock presents a table of rich facts and hypotheses for the reader to chew over and form his, or her, own opinions from. I now know I'm correct in my suspicions of the accepted history of these pyramids and others like them. I am also quite horrified by the blinkered views and refusal to accept new ideas demonstrated by revered and authoritative experts on Egyptology. Not always an easy read because of the relentless bombardment by figures, statistics and controversial ideas, but stick with it and be amazed, inspired and educated!
