Well hello to you dear browser. Now I have your attention it would be rude if I didn't tell you a little about my literary feast. So, here is the thing: is it just me or does anyone else find that adulthood offers no refuge from the unexpected horrors, peculiar lack of physical coordination and sometimes unexplained nudity, that accompanied childhood and adolescence?

Does everybody struggle with the hazards that accompany, say, sitting elegantly on a bar stool; using chopsticks; pretending to understand the bank crisis; pedicures - surely it's plain wrong for a stranger to fondle your feet? Or is it just me?

I am proud to say I have a wealth of awkward experiences - from school days to life as an office temp - and here I offer my 18-year-old self (and I hope you too dear reader) some much needed caution and guidance on how to navigate life's rocky path.

Because frankly where is the manual? The much needed manual to life. Well, fret not, for this is my attempt at one and let's call it, because it's fun, a Miran-ual. I thank you.

    Bloody brilliant! Full of galloping, Miranda playing the fool, and laugh-out-loud moments (a tad embarrassing on a packed commuter train!). But running all the way through the book is also the really important message that however awkward and out-of-place you might feel, if you follow your passions and accept yourself in all it's weirdness, you will be truly happy. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face :-)

    I usually love Miranda but when I read this book I found it was badly written and the attempted humour wasn't even funny. There were parts that I enjoyed but the main thing that irritated me was the back and firth between Miranda and her 'younger self' which just ended up being repetitive and unfunny.

    This book is an amazing book!, but it is a rip off, I went to tesco this morning and there was the exact same book for only £9 when this is £9.99 so it's dearer, This is not a complaint about the actual book, because as I said before, it is amazing. But a complaint to iTunes for selling it dearer than it needs to be.

    Great read. I'm not normally a reader, but loved her tv series so I thought I'd try the book. Laughed out loud, and most times couldn't put it down. Highly recommend! May have even kick started a new love for reading!

    I love the TV show but I found the book a bit boring, I guess I just found her hard to relate to so I didn't really find it funny at all
