At the precise moment Big Government becomes unaffordable, the internet revolution makes it possible to do without it. Be optimistic. We are going to be able to manage without government - and thrive. The old political and economic order is about to give way to something vastly better.

    I have had an itch for many years now and not knowing what caused it have learnt to manage the irritation. On reading Douglas Carswell's book I have not only realised the cause of all these years of irritation but want to start scratching. Thoughtful, well presented and thunderingly good common sense. The 'experts' will not agree; well of course they won't.
