    The Fourth Raker book I have read and probably the best constructed story with an excellent over-arching narrative and truly gripping moments. Tim Weaver is made to write episodic TV because this chap sure knows how to end a chapter. Shocking twists which leap out of nowhere only to have been cunningly constructed chapters before. read it with care, because he is toying with you. highly recommended.

    Took me 4 or 5 chapters to get into this but persevered and glad I did. Great story line with lots of twists couldn't put it down. Off to read the next one now !

    I hadnt read the previous books in the series, but this didnt stop me really enjoying this book, a great crime thiller similar to the linwood barclay books

    As always, every one of Tim Weavers books I have read, I feel absolutely drained. From emotion, wonder, and sheer satisfaction of his terrific storytelling, and the way he weaves the threads of events and characters into a truly interesting and compelling read. I am an avid reader of thrillers and mysteries, but since coming into contact with Tim Weaver's creations I am completely sold on his books, and, have introduced them to other family and friends.     A real roller-coaster of a ride. Like his novel Vanished this Tim Weaver story was hard to put down for more than five minutes at a time.

    This book was great from beginning to end, keeping me guessing and on the edge of my seat all the way. I gave top five stars because I couldn't put it down, very well wrote. I love a book that is well thought out and you can see what's going to happen until the end. I will certainly be reading his books again Well done Tim Weaver
