    Saw this book and read the blurb and thought 'my kind of book'. I wasn't disappointed, fast paced, twists and turns and a gruesome edge. You'll love it! I'm moving on to book 2!

    Wow didn't think any book could beat Tim weaver books but found one that is on a definite par.thank u so much enjoyed every page and couldn't sleep till I got to the end.now will start 2nd book pop goes the weasel thought provoking and very real max

    I loved it & couldn't put it down! I am eagerly looking forward to M.J's next book & her many more books to come! I enjoyed the way the story broke off in to different sections, separating each of the characters & their different or sometimes intertwined stories. One of the reviews I read said that they didn't feel there was a need for the S&M storyline. I completely disagree, as it helps us to understand our main character; her early life & why she is the way she is with others. It does not deflect from the main plot at all. This is a must read for fans of Chris Carter, Ethan Cross, Nigel Mcrery & Patricia Cornwell.

    A tedious, clichéd pot boiler with an ending as predictable as it was poorly written. With a gossamer thin plot stretched to breaking point, this was a dull, plodding read that leaves you wishing that you hadn't started the damn thing. Could have with better editing, losing a couple of characters as well as around a hundred pages.

    It started of okay but got a little boring , I almost didn't want to finish it but hoped the ending would be a little more exciting , I was wrong . There were also unnecessary parts that you thought would lead to something but never did .
